How wonderful to see you posting again! I love this. Such a long, rich, beautiful post.
What a cornucopia of beauty and interest! What a rich botanical terrain you inhabit. I was especially interested to see the birthwort as I remember going with my brother to look for it in the vicinity of Godstow nunnery where it was said to grow. I don’t think we found it. I am currently aiming to get to the coast beyond St David’s where a mass of dodder has been reported.
